<br /> OF SAN lVlARCOS, 'rEXAS, APP ROVING THE PRICE AND
<br /> CONDITIONS OF THE SALE BY THE CITY OF SAN
<br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, OF LOT THIRTEEN (13) IN BLOCK
<br /> THIRTY-THREE ( 33), VICTORY GARDENS, SEC'rION
<br /> TVJO (2), A SUBDIVISION LOCATED IN SAID CITY,
<br /> TO ISABEL P. CAUDILLO; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
<br /> TO EXECUTE A WARR~TY DEED TO ISABEL P.
<br /> CAUDILLO ~D DECLARING fu~ EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, advertised for
<br /> bids for the sale of Lot Thirteen (13) in Block Thirty-Three
<br /> (33), Victory Gardens, Section Two (2), a subdivision In the
<br /> City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, according to the map
<br /> or plat thereof, recorded in Volume 130, Pages 48-52 of the
<br /> Deed Records of Hays County, Texas, also known as Urban
<br /> Renewal Parcel No. 44R-9 In the San Marcos Record, a local
<br /> newspaper with a general circulation in the County of Hays,
<br /> State of Texas, on September 11, 1983 and September 13, 1983;
<br /> and,
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement a bid was
<br /> submitted by Isabel P. Caudillo for- said described property
<br /> in the amount of one thousand five hundred dollars
<br /> ( $1 , 500 .00); and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said bid met the minimum disposition price set
<br /> for said property by the Urban Renewal Board of Con~issioners
<br /> of the City of San Marcos, Texas on September 15, 1981; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said Board accepted the bid as the highest and
<br /> best responsible bid for said property on September 16, 1983;
<br /> and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said Board recommends the approval of said
<br /> purchase price and the approval of the terms and conditions
<br /> for said sale, as contained in the bid document; now,
<br /> therefore,
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br /> MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br /> SECTION 1. That the terms and conditions of the sale by
<br /> the City of San Marcos, Texas, of Lot Thirteen (13) in Block
<br /> Thirty-Three (33), victory Gardens Section Two ( 2), a
<br /> subdivision in the City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas,
<br /> according to the map or plat thereof, recorded in Volume 130,
<br /> Pages 48-52 of the Deed Records of Hays County, Texas, also
<br /> known as Urban Renewal Parcel No. 44R-9, to Isabel P.
<br /> Caudillo are hereby approved.
<br /> SECTION 2. That the consideration of one thousand five
<br /> hundred dollars ($1,500.00) for said property be, and the
<br /> same is hereby, approved.
<br /> SEcrrION 3. That the purchaser is hereby placed on
<br /> notice that the subject property is subject to assessment
<br /> under the provisions of Article 1105b, Texas Revised civil
<br /> Statutes.
<br /> SECTION 4. 'rhat the Mayor of the City of San Marcos,
<br /> Texas, Emmie Craddock, be, and is hereby, authorized to
<br /> execute a warranty deed to Isabel P. Caudillo from the City
<br /> of San Marcos for said property.
<br /> SECTION 5. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten
<br /> days from and after its passage and publication in a
<br /> newspaper of general circulation in the area.
