<br /> 32 <br /> ORDINANCE 1984-43 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 29, <br /> ARTICLE V, SECTION 29-122 OF THE CODE OF <br /> ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY BY CHANGING THE <br /> DESCRIPTION OF THE DIRECTION OF APPROACH OF <br /> VEHICLES TO CERTAIN LOCATIONS AT WHICH DRIVERS <br /> OF VEHICLES APPROACHING FROM SUCH DIRECTION <br /> SHALL STOP AT STOP SIGNS POSTED AND BY ADDING <br /> LOCATIONS FOR THE PLACEMENT OF STOP SIGNS AT <br /> THE INTERSECTIONS OF FRANKLIN DRIVE AND GIRARD <br /> STREET AND FRANKLIN DRIVE AND PERKINS STREET <br /> IN SAID CITY AT WHICH LOCATIONS DRIVERS OF <br /> VEHICLES APPROACHING FROM THE INDICATED <br /> DIRECTION SHALL STOP AT STOP SIGNS POSTED AT <br /> SAID INTERSECTIONS IN SAID CITY THEREBY <br /> CREATING FOUR-WAY STOPS AT BOTH INTERSECTIONS <br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That Chapter 29, Article V, Section 29-122 <br />of the Code of Ordinances, City of San Marcos, Texas, is <br />hereby amended to add the following locations in proper <br />alphabetical sequence at which drivers of vehicles approaching <br />from the directions indicated shall stop at stop signs posted <br />at the intersections specified: <br /> Intersection Direction Of Approach <br /> <br /> Franklin Drive and Girard Northeast <br /> Street <br /> Franklin Drive and Girard Southwest <br /> Street <br /> Franklin Drive and Perkins Northeast <br /> Street <br /> Franklin Drive and Perkins Southwest <br /> Street <br /> Perkins Street and Southeast <br /> Franklin Drive <br /> SECTION 2. That Chapter 29, Article V, section 29-122 <br />of the Code of Ordinances, city of San Marcos, Texas, is <br />hereby amended to change the direction of approach of vehicles <br />to the following locations at which drivers of vehicles <br />approaching from such directions indicated shall stop at stop <br />signs posted at the intersections specified: <br /> Intersection Direction Of Approach <br /> ----- <br /> Girard Street and Northwest <br /> Franklin Drive <br /> Girard Street and Southeast <br /> Franklin Drive <br /> Perkins Street and Northwest <br /> Franklin Drive <br /> SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten <br />days from and after its passage and publication in a newspaper <br />of general circulation in the area. <br />
