<br /> 34 <br /> ORDINANCE 1984-45 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF 'rHE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING CHAPTER 25, <br /> ARTICLE I, SECTION 25-1 OF THE CODE OF <br /> ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY TO PROVIDE THAT THE <br /> PUBLIC SQUARE, STREETS, ALLEYS OR SIDEWALKS OF <br /> SAID CITY MAY BE USED FOR ANY LAWFUL PURPOSE <br /> AS PROVIDED BY CHAPTER 29, ARTICLE I, SECTION <br /> 29-16 OF SAID CODE AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br /> DATE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br />SECTION 1. That Chapter 25, Article I, Section 25-1 of <br />the Code of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos, Texas lS <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Sec. 25-1. Obstructions generally. <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person to put or <br /> keep upon the public square, streets, alleys or <br /> sidewalks of the city, any vehicle, machine, <br /> machinery or articles of any kind whatsoever for <br /> sale or show, in such manner as to in any way <br /> obstruct such public square, streets, alleys or <br /> sidewalks of the city, except that the public <br /> square, streets, alleys or sidewalks of the city <br /> may be used for any otherwise lawful purpose as <br /> provided by Section 29-16 of the Code of <br /> Ordinances of the City of San Marcos. <br />SECTION 2.
