<br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PRICE AND
<br /> CONDITIONS OF THE SALE BY THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br /> TEXAS, OF LOTS ONE (1), TWO (2) AND THREE ( 3)
<br /> IN BLOCK NINETEEN (19), VICTORY GARDENS, SECTION
<br /> TWO (2), A SUBDIVISION LOCATED IN SAID CITY,
<br /> TO LUIS FRANCISCO SILGUERO; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
<br /> TO EXECUTE A WARRANTY DEED TO LUIS FRANCISCO
<br /> SILGUERO AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, advertised for
<br />bids for the sale of Lots One (1), Two (2) and Three (3) in
<br />Block Nineteen (19), Victory Gardens, Section Two (2), a
<br />subdivision in the City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas,
<br />according to the map or plat thereof, recorded in Volume 130,
<br />Page 48 of the Deed Records of Hays County, Texas, also known
<br />as Urban Renewal Parcel No. 86A-18 in the San Marcos Record, a
<br />local newspaper with a general circulation in the County of
<br />Hays, State of Texas, on March 25, 1984 and March 27, 1984;
<br />and,
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement a bid was submitted
<br />by Luis Francisco Silguero for said described property in the
<br />amount of six thousand five hundred dollars ($6,500.00); and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said bid met the minimum disposition price set
<br />for said property by the Urban Renewal Board of Commissioners
<br />of the City of San Marcos, Texas on March 7, 1984; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said Board accepted the bid as the highest and
<br />best responsible bid for said property on April 4, 1984; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said Board recommends the approval of said
<br />purchase price and the approval of the terms and conditions for
<br />said sale, as contained in the bid document; now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br />MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br /> SECTION 1. That the terms and conditions of the sale by
<br />the City of San Marcos, Texas, of Lots One (1), Two (2) and
<br />Three ( 3) in Block Nineteen (19), Victory Gardens, Section Two
<br />(2), a subdivision in the City of San Marcos, Hays County,
<br />Texas, according to the map or plat thereof, recorded in Volume
<br />130, Page 48 of the Deed Records of Hays County, Texas, also
<br />known as Urban Renewal Parcel No. 86A-18 to Luis Francisco 'Silguero
<br />are hereby approved.
<br /> SECTION 2. That the consideration of six thousand five
<br />hundred dollars ($6,500.00) for said property be, and the
<br />same is herebv,approved.
<br /> SECTION 3. That the purchaser is hereby placed on notice
<br />that the subject property is subject to assessment under the
<br />provisions of Article 1105b, Texas Revised Civil Statutes.
<br /> SECTION 4. That the Mayor of the City of San Marcos, Texas,
<br />Emmie Craddock, b'=, and is hereby, authorized to execute a warranty
<br />deed to Luis Francisco Silguero from the City of San Marcos for
<br />said property.
<br /> SECTION 5. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10)
<br />days from and after its passage and after its publication in a
<br />newspaper of general circulation in the area.
