<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PRICE AND
<br />CONDITIONS OF THE SALE BY THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br />TEXAS, OF LOT FOURTEEN (14) IN THE WEATHERFORD
<br />SUBDIVISION NO.2, A SUBDIVISION LOCATED IN SAID
<br />CITY, TO BILL BOYD; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
<br />EXECUTE A WARRANTY DEED TO BILL BOYD AND DECLARING
<br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

<br />~hp ci~v of San Marços, Texas, advertised for bids
<br />for the sale of Lot Fourteen (14),in the Weatherford Subdivision No.2,
<br />a subdivision in Hays County, Texas, according to the map or plat
<br />thereof, recorded in Volume 132, Pages 255-259 of the Deed Records of
<br />Havs County. Texas, also known as Urban Renewal Parcel No. 68A-15
<br />in the San Marcos Record, a local newspaper with a general cir-
<br />culation in the County of Hays, State of Texas, on March 25, 1984,
<br />and March 27, 1984; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement a bid was submitted
<br />by Bill Boyd for said described property in the amount of Three
<br />Thousand six Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars ($3,625.00); and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said bid met the minimum disposition price set
<br />for said property by the Urban Renewal Board of Commissioners
<br />of the City of San Marcos, Texas on June 1, 1982; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said Board accepted the bid as the hiqhest and best
<br />responsible bid for said property on April 4, 1984; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said Board recommends the approval of said purchase
<br />price and approval of the terms and conditions for said sale,
<br />as contained in the bid document; now, therefore,
<br />
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS.
<br />TEXAS:

<br />SECTION 1. That the terms and conditions of the sale bv
<br />the City of San Marcos, Texas, of Lot Fourteen (14), in the
<br />Weatherford Subdivision No.2, a subdivision in Hays County,
<br />Texas, according to the map or plat thereof, recorded in Volume
<br />132, Paaes 255-259 of the Deed Records of Havs Countv, Texas,
<br />also known as Urban Renewal Parcel No. 68A-15, to Bill Boyd
<br />are herebv approved.
<br />
<br />SECTION 2. That the consideration of Three Thousand Six
<br />Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars ($3,625.00) for said property be, and
<br />the same is hereby, approved.
<br />
<br />SECTION 3. That the purchaser is hereby placed on notice
<br />that the subject property is subject to assessment under the
<br />provisions of Article 1105b, Texas Revised Civil Statutes.
<br />
<br />SECTION 4. That the Mavor of the Citv of San Marcos,
<br />Texas, Emmie Craddock, be, and is hereby, authorized to execute
<br />a warranty deed to Bill Boyd from the City of San Marcos for said
<br />property.
<br />
<br />SECTION 5. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten days
<br />from and after its passage and af~er its publication in a newspaper of
<br />general circulation in the area.
