<br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PRICE AND
<br /> CONDITIONS OF THE SALE BY THE CITY OF SAN
<br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, OF .03 ACRES OF LAND OUT OF HOME
<br /> FARM BLOCKS, A SUBDIVISION LOCATED IN SAID CITY,
<br /> TO RAFAEL GONZALES; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
<br /> EXECUTE A WARRANTY DEED TO RAFAEL GONZALES AND
<br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, advertised for
<br />bids for the sale of .03 acres of land out of Home Farm Blocks,
<br />a subdivision in the City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas,
<br />according to the map or plat thereof, recorded in Volume 129,
<br />Page 226 of the Deed Records of Hays County, Texas, also known
<br />as Urban Renewal Parcel No. 88A-20A in the San Marcos Record,
<br />a local newspaper with a general circulation in the County of
<br />Hays, State of Texas, on March 25, 1984 and March 27, 1984;
<br />and,
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement a bid was submitted
<br />by Rafael Gonzales for said described property in the amount
<br />of five hundred twenty-five dollars ($525.00); and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said bid met the minimum disposition price set
<br />for said property by the Urban Renewal Board of Commissioners
<br />of the City of San Marcos, Texas on March 7, 1984; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said Board accepted the bid as the highest and
<br />best responsible bid for said property on April 4, 1984; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said Board recommends the approval of said purchase
<br />price and the approval of the terms and conditions for said
<br />s alEi, as contained in the bid document; now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br />MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br /> SECTION 1. That the terms and conditions of the sale by
<br />the City of San Marcos, Texas, of .03 acres of land out of
<br />Home Farm Blocks, a subdivision in the City of San Marcos, Hays
<br />County, Texas, according to the map or plat thereof, recorded
<br />in Volume 129, Page 226 of the Deed Records of Hays County,
<br />Texas, said .03 acre tract being more particularly described
<br />by metes and bounds as follows, to-wit:
<br /> BEING A PORTION OF ROOSEVELT STREET,OF HOME
<br /> FARM BLOCKS,A SUBDIVISION OF RECORD IN VOLUME
<br /> 129, PAGE, 226, HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS AND BEING
<br /> MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS,
<br /> AS FOLLOWS, TO-WIT:
<br /> BEGINNING at an iron stake set for the Northeast
<br /> corner of the tract herein described, same being
<br /> the Southeast corner of Block 1, of the said Home
<br /> Farm Blocks and being on the West line of Guadalupe
<br /> Street, and the North line of Roosevelt Street a
<br /> Public Road as shown on the plat of the said Home
<br /> Farm Blocks;
<br /> THENCE, leaving Block 1, S 07° 19' E, 20.04 feet
<br /> to an iron stake set for the Southeast corner of
<br /> the tract herein described;
<br /> THENCE, S 82° 23' 1,'1, 30.53 feet to an iron stake set
<br /> for the Southwest corner of the tract herein described;
<br /> THENCE, N 77° 52' W, 65.69 feet to an iron stake set
<br /> for the Northwest corner of the tract herein described,
<br /> same being on the South line of the aforementioned
<br /> Block 1, of Home Farm Blocks and the North line of
<br /> Roosevelt Street;
