RESOLUTION 2014 -41R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A 2015 <br />FREIGHTLINER 114SD VACTOR SEWER CLEANING TRUCK FOR <br />THE PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT — WATER/WASTEWATER <br />DIVISION IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $326,849.00 FROM <br />FREIGHTLINER OF AUSTIN THROUGH THE TEXAS LOCAL <br />GOVERNMENT PURCHASING COOPERATIVE BUYBOARD <br />CONTRACT FOR VEHICLES, HEAVY DUTY TRUCKS AND OPTIONS <br />(CONTRACT #430 -13); AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS <br />DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE PURCHASING <br />DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The purchase of a 2015 Freightliner 114SD Vactor Sewer Cleaning Truck <br />for the Public Services Department — Water/Wastewater Division from Freightliner of Austin <br />through the Texas Local Government Purchasing Cooperative Buyboard contract for Vehicles, <br />Heavy Duty Trucks and Options (Contract#430 -13) in the total amount of $326,849.00 <br />(including the Buyboard fee) is approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the appropriate <br />purchasing documents on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately from and <br />after its passage. <br />ADOPTED this the 18th day of March, 2014. <br />
