<br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2007- 157 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE SAN MARCOS CONSOLIDA TED <br />INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR THE PROVISION OF SCHOOL <br />RESOURCE OFFICERS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />EXECUTE THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, <br /> <br />P ART I, The attached interlocal agreement between the City of San Marcos and the <br />San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District for the provision of school resource <br />officers is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. This interlocal agreement is entered into pursuant to the Interlocal <br />Cooperation Act, Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code, as amended. <br /> <br />PART 3. The City Manager, Dan O'Leary, is authorized to execute this agreement <br />on behalf ofthe City. <br /> <br />PART 4.
