RESOLUTION 2014 -70R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE <br />CITY AND ESPEY CONSULTANTS, INC. D /B /A RPS FOR THE <br />PROVISION OF PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES IN <br />CONNECTION WITH THE BLANCO RIVER -RIVER ROAD SLOPE <br />STABILIZATION PROJECT IN AN AMOUNT NOT -TO- EXCEED <br />$69,750.00; CONTINGENT UPON THE ENGINEER'S PROVISION OF <br />SUFFICIENT INSURANCE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ATTACHED <br />AGREEMENT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS <br />DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached agreement between the City and Espey Consultants, Inc. <br />d /b /a RPS for the provision of professional services in connection with the Blanco River -River <br />Road Slope Stabilization Project in an amount not -to- exceed $69,750.00 is approved contingent <br />upon the Engineer's provision of sufficient insurance in accordance with the attached agreement. <br />PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the Agreement <br />on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
