RESOLUTION 2014 -88R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH GREEN GUY <br />RECYCLING, INC. FOR THE OPERATION OF A RECYCLING DROP - <br />OFF CENTER AND THE PROVISION OF RECYCLING MATERIAL <br />PICK UP FROM CITY FACILITIES AND SPECIAL EVENTS IN AN <br />ESTIMATED ANNUAL AMOUNT OF $196,554.00 CONTINGENT UPON <br />THE CONTRACTOR'S PROVISION OF SUFFICIENT INSURANCE IN <br />ACCORDANCE WITH THE ATTACHED CONTRACT; AUTHORIZING <br />THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THIS <br />AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached contract between the City and Green Guy Recycling, Inc. for the <br />operation of a recycling drop -off center and the provision of recycling material pick up from City <br />facilities and special events in an estimated annual amount of $196,554.00 is approved <br />contingent upon the Consultant's provision of sufficient insurance in accordance with the <br />attached contract. <br />PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the Contract on <br />behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
