ORDINANCE NO. 2014 -34 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING SECTION 86.198 OF THE SAN MARCOS CITY CODE TO ESTABLISH NEW WATER, WASTEWATER AND ELECTRIC UTILITY SERVICE FEES; APPROVING A SCHEDULE OF CORRESPONDING UTILITY SERVICE FEES; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 86.198, Miscellaneous Service Fees, is hereby amended to read as follows (added text is indicated by underlining and deleted text is indicated by strikethr -o ^ ): Sec. 86.198. Miscellaneous service fees. (a) Water /Wastewater Utility W(a) A new service ae ^,,,,t ee ^°et'^^ fee established by the city council must be paid when a permanent utility service is installed for the first time to a new structure or a new point of delivery.
