RESOLUTION NO. 2014 -113R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH AURELIUS, <br />LTD., A TEXAS LIMITED PARTNERSHIP, FOR THE CITY TO <br />PURCHASE APPROXIMATELY 6.97 ACRES OF LAND, BEING PART <br />OF FARM LOTS 25 AND 26 OUT OF THE ORIGINAL TOWN OF SAN <br />MARCOS AND LOCATED ALONG CM ALLEN PARKWAY AT THE <br />SAN MARCOS RIVER, AT A PRICE OF $1,000,000.00; AUTHORIZING <br />THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT ON BEHALF <br />OF THE CITY; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE <br />ALL CLOSING DOCUMENTS RELATED TO SUCH PURCHASE; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached Real Estate Sales Contract (the "Contract ") between the City <br />of San Marcos and Aurelius, Ltd., a Texas Limited Partnership, is hereby approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the Contract and all <br />closing documents related to the purchase of the land under the Contract on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
