RESOLUTION 2014 -131R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS <br />DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE A DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH <br />LAZY OAKS RANCH, LP TO REGULATE THE FUTURE <br />DEVELOPMENT OF AN APPROXIMATELY 2,029.023 ACRE TRACT <br />OF LAND (COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE PROPOSED LA CIMA SAN <br />MARCOS PROJECT) CURRENTLY LOCATED IN THE CITY'S <br />EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION AND PROVIDING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to execute the <br />development agreement with Lazy Oaks Ranch, LP and Hays County to regulate the future <br />development of an approximately 2,029.023 acre tract of land currently located in the city's <br />extraterritorial jurisdiction attached to this resolution as Exhibit 1. If the development agreement <br />is approved without substantive revisions and is executed by the City of San Marcos, Hays <br />County, and Lazy Oaks Ranch, LP, it will supersede the development agreement with Lazy Oaks <br />Ranch, LP previously approved by Resolution 2013 -18R on February 5, 2013 pertaining to <br />1,396.90 acres of land currently located within the city's extraterritorial jurisdiction. <br />PART 2.
