RESOLUTION 2014 -127 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE <br />CITY AND EASTER SEALS - CENTRAL TEXAS AS CERTIFIED BY <br />TIBH INDUSTRIES, INC. FOR VEGETATION CONTROL, DEBRIS <br />REMOVAL AND LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE IN A NOT TO EXCEED <br />AMOUNT OF $777,775.22; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR <br />HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF <br />THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The procurement of services described in the attached agreement with Easter <br />Seals- Central Texas is approved as an exception to competitive bidding requirements, pursuant <br />to the provisions of Chapter 122, Human Resources Code. <br />PART 2. The attached agreement between the City and Easter Seals Central Texas as <br />certified by T1BH Industries, Inc. for vegetation control, debris removal and landscape <br />maintenance in a not to exceed amount of $777,775.22 is approved. <br />PART 3. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute this Agreement on <br />behalf of the City. <br />PART 4.
