RESOLUTION NO. 2014 -155R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT OF SALE WITH <br />THE TRUST FOR PUBLIC LAND FOR THE CITY TO PURCHASE <br />APPROXIMATELY 89.7 ACRES OF LAND FOR THE EXPANSION OF <br />THE PURGATORY CREEK PRESERVE GREEN SPACE AT A PRICE <br />OF $1,295,500.00; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE <br />SAID AGREEMENT AND RELATED CLOSING DOCUMENTS ON <br />BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached Agreement of Sale between the Trust for Public Land and the <br />City of San Marcos (the "Agreement ") is hereby approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager is authorized to execute the Agreement and all related <br />closing documents on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
