RESOLUTION 2007- 198 R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br />WITH THE NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS FOR THE <br />PROCUREMENT OF ACTUARIAL SERVICES AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. The North Texas Council of Governments ("NCTCOG") has created a cooperative <br />purchasing plan which allows other governmental entities to procure services through a competitive <br />proposal process; <br />2. The NTCOG has contracted for the procurement of actuarial services from Gabriel, <br />Roeder, Smith & Co; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The Interim City Manager is hereby authorized to sign an Interlocal Agreement <br />with the NTCOG for the procurement of actuarial services relating to GASB pronouncement 45 <br />pertaining to post employment benefits. <br />PART 2.
