RESOLUTION 2014 -1608 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS FINDING A TOOL COMPARTMENT UTILIZED BY THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS FIRE DEPARTMENT TO BE SURPLUS AND OF NO VALUE; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO DONATE THIS TOOL COMPARTMENT TO <br />THE CITY OF BUDA FIRE DEPARTMENT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE ANY NECESSARY <br />DOCUMENTS TO FACILITATE THE DONATION OF THIS TOOL <br />COMPARTMENT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />1. The City's Fire Department possesses a used tool compartment that was originally <br />part of a brush truck that has since been refurbished making the tool compartment obsolete. <br />2. The City has determined that this tool compartment is surplus and of no value to the <br />City and the City wishes to donate the tool compartment to the City of Buda, Texas. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The City Council finds and determines that a tool compartment, no longer in <br />use by the City Fire Department, is surplus and of no value to the City of San Marcos. <br />PART 2. The City is authorized to donate this tool compartment to the City of Buda, <br />Texas. <br />PART 3. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute any necessary <br />documents facilitating the donation of this tool compartment. <br />PART 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately from and after its <br />passage. <br />ADOPTED this the 18th day of November, 2014. <br />niel Guerre <br />Mayor <br />
