RESOLUTION 2014 -167R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A BOOM TIP <br />DIGGER FOR THE PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT — ELECTRIC <br />UTILITIES DIVISION FROM ALTEC INDUSTRIES, INC. THROUGH <br />THE TEXAS COMPTROLLER OF PUBLIC ACCOUNT'S TEXAS <br />MULTIPLE AWARD SCHEDULE FOR CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT <br />AND ATTACHMENTS (TXMAS #- 11- 23V050) IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$179,091.00; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE <br />TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE PURCHASING DOCUMENTS ON <br />BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The purchase of a Boom Tip Digger for the Public Services Department - <br />Electric Utilities Division from Altec Industries, Inc. through the Texas Comptroller of Public <br />Account's Texas Multiple Award Schedule for Construction Equipment and Attachments <br />(TXMAS # -11 -23 V050) in the amount of $179,091.00 is approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager or his designee, is authorized to execute the appropriate <br />purchasing documents on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
