RESOLUTION 2015 -56R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PROCUREMENT OF ORACLE <br />DATABASE LICENSES FOR THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS IN THE <br />ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF $241,105.09 FROM MYTHICS, INC. (WHICH <br />INCLUDES THE FIRST YEAR OF ANNUAL SOFTWARE SUPPORT) <br />THROUGH THE TEXAS COMPTROLLER OF PUBLIC ACCOUNT'S <br />DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION RESOURCES ( "DIR ") (CONTRACT <br />(DIR -TSO -254); APPROVING THE SECOND YEAR OF ANNUAL <br />SOFTWARE SUPPORT AT $64,082.52, AND FOR EACH REMAINING <br />YEAR OF ANNUAL SOFTWARE SUPPORT BEYOND THE FIRST TWO <br />YEARS AT A 3% INCREASE FOR EACH YEAR CONTINGENT UPON <br />CITY COUNCIL'S APPROPRIATION OF ADEQUATE FUNDS IN THE <br />BUDGET; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE <br />TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE PURCHASING DOCUMENTS ON <br />BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The procurement of Oracle database software licenses for the City of San <br />Marcos in the amount of $241,105.09 from Mythics, Inc. (which includes the first year of annual <br />software support) through the Texas Comptroller of Public Account's DIR Program (Contract <br />DIR -TSO -254) is approved. <br />PART 2. The second year of annual software support of $64,082.32, and for each <br />remaining year of annual software support beyond the first two years, at a 3% increase for each <br />year is approved contingent upon City Council's appropriation of adequate funds in the budget. <br />PART 3. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute appropriate <br />purchasing documents on behalf of the City. <br />PART 4.
