No one wished to speak. <br />Mayor Morris introduced a public hearing and adoption of a <br />Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF <br />THE CITY, FROM PERMANENT OPEN SPACE AND/OR FLOODPLAIN TO LOW <br />DENSITY RESIDENTIAL FOR LOT 15, MCKIE'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, AS SHOWN ON THE PLAT RECORDED IN VOLUME X, PAGE 547 <br />OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, LOCATED AT 1025 GRAVEL STREET <br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Mayor Morris opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br />speak. Carmen Soto advised the Council she is in favor of the <br />amendment, so she can build a home on the property. Mr. Guerra <br />moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Moore seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration removing a Resolution from <br />the table, which was tabled November 22, 1993, to consider adoption <br />of a Resolution nominating a Candidate for the Appraisal Review <br />Board of the Hays County Appraisal District for the period beginning <br />January 1, 1994. Mr. Guerra moved the Resolution be removed from <br />the table and Mr. Hart seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously. Mayor Morris then introduced for consideration <br />adoption of the Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, NOMINATING A CANDIDATE FOR THE APPRAISAL REVIEW BOARD OF <br />THE HAYS COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT FOR THE PERIOD BEGINNING <br />JANUARY 1, 1994; DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT THE NAME <br />OF THE NOMINEE TO THE CHIEF APPRAISER OF THE HAYS COUNTY <br />APPRAISAL DISTRICT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />
