<br />RESOLUTION NO. 1981-65R
<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
<br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING
<br />PAYMENT OF CHARLES WILLIS AND ASSOCIATES
<br />FOR SERVICES RENDERED PURSUANT TO THE
<br />TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE PROFESSIONAL
<br />SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF
<br />THE SAID MASTER PLAN ENTERED INTO BY SAID
<br />CITY AND CHARLES WILLIS ON JUNE 16, 1980,
<br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />WHEREAS, on June 16, 1980, the City of San Marcos, Texas,
<br />acting through its Mayor, Kenneth V. Kraus, authorized by Reso-
<br />lution duly enacted on said date, approved a Consultant Services
<br />Agreement between said City and Charles Willis & Associates, Inc.,
<br />of Dallas, Texas, for the development of an Airport Master Plan
<br />Study for said City; and,
<br />WHEREAS, on July 28, 1980, the City of San Marcos, Texas,
<br />acting through its Mayor, Kenneth V. Kraus, authorized by Reso-
<br />lution duly enacted on said date, approved an amendment to the
<br />Consultant Services Agreement between said City and Charles Willis
<br />& Associates, Inc., for the development of an Airport Master Plan.
<br />WHEREAS, under the terms of said Agreement, Charles Willis
<br />& Associates, Inc., was to review pertinent documents and collect
<br />additional data essential to said Study; determine future facility
<br />requirements; forecast aviation demand; analyze constraints to
<br />airport development; determine immeditate and future aviation land
<br />use requirements; prepare an overall plan for on-airport develop-
<br />ment; prepare a terminal area plan showing recommended locations
<br />for terminal expansion, hangers and other service buildings, air-
<br />craft parking and tie-down areas and other facilities as required;
<br />develop an Airport Access Plan; develop an Airport Layout Plan
<br />of existing and proposed airport facilities; provide development
<br />schedules and provide a financial plan based on the short, interme-
<br />diate and long term needs as developed in the Master Plan which
<br />would include an analysis of possible funding sources; and,
<br />WHEREAS, Charles Willis & Associates, Inc., has submitted an
<br />Airport Master Plan for San Marcos, Texas; and,
<br />WHEREAS, the San Marcos Airport Commission, on July 6, 1981,
<br />examined said Airport Master Plan for San Marcos, Texas, and
<br />found that it meets the terms of the Agreement between said City
<br />and Charles Willis & Associates, Inc., and recomends its adoption
<br />by the City of San Marcos; and,
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marocs, Texas,
<br />on August 10, 1981, forwarded and determined that Charles Willis &
<br />Associates, Inc., had completed the requirements of the Consultant
<br />Services Agreement in general compliance with the terms and con-
<br />ditions of said Agreement; and,
<br />WHEREAS, said City Council on August 10, 1981, accepted the
<br />Airport Master Plan Study for San Marcos, Texas, and submitted to
<br />said City by Charles Willis & Associates, Inc., for use and imple-
<br />mentation; now, therefore,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br />TEXAS:
<br />PART 1. That payment to Charles Willis & Associates, Inc.,
<br />from line items 25-00-5499 and 54-12-9301 in the 1980-81 City of
<br />San Marcos budget is hereby authorized in the amount of $978.00 for
<br />services rendered pursuant to that Agreement for development of
<br />an Airport Master Plan for the City of San Marcos.
<br />PART 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and
<br />effect from and after its adoption:
