65 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1981-67R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, NOMINATING A CANDIDATE <br />FOR THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE HAYS COUNTY <br />APPRAISAL DISTRICT FOR THE PERIOD BEGINNING JANUARY <br />1, 1982; DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO SUBMIT THE <br />NAME OF THE NOMINEE TO THE COUNTY CLERK OF HAYS <br />COUNTY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, is a taxing unit <br />entitled to nominate candidates for positions on the board of <br />directors for the Hays County Appraisal District; and, <br />WHEREAS, the governing body of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas, to-wit: the City Council of said City,wishes to nominate <br />a candidate for a position on the board of directors for the <br />Hays County Appraisal District for the period beginning January <br />1, 1982 and, <br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby determines that it is <br />desirable to nominate John A. Kreczmer as a candidate for <br />a position on the board of directors for the Hays County Appraisal <br />District for the period beginning January 1, 1982; and, <br />WHEREAS, John A. Kreczmer fulfills the eligibility require- <br />ments of Section 6.03(a) of the Texas Property Tax Code; now, <br />therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. That John A. Kreczmer be, and he is hereby nominated <br />as a candidate for a position on the board of directors for the <br />Hays County Appraisal District for the peri6d beginning January <br />1, 1982. <br />PART 2. That the Mayor of the City of San Marcos is hereby <br />directed to submit, prior to October 15, 1981,-the name of John A. <br />Kreczmer to Lydell Clayton, County Clerk for Hays County, Texas, <br />as the nominee of the City of San Marcos, Texas,for a position on <br />the board of directors of the Hays County Appraisal District for <br />the period beginning January 1, 1982. <br />PART 3.
