ORDINANCE NO. 2015-47 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS AMENDING SECTION 2.369 OF THE SAN MARCOS CITY CODE TO <br />CHANGE THE COMPOSITION OF THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BOARD BY <br />CHANGING THE MEMBERSHIP FROM 13 TO 12 MEMBERS, 8 OF WHICH MUST <br />RESIDE IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, REMOVING THE MAYOR AND A <br />CITIZEN AT LARGE POSITION AND ADDING A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER <br />POSITION THAT IS A RESIDENT OF THE CITY AND THE GREATER SAN <br />MARCOS PARTNERSHIP PRESIDENT AS AN EX OFFICIO NON -VOTING <br />MEMBER; AND AMENDIND SECTION 2.370 — GENERAL POWERS AND DUTIES; <br />INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br />SECTION 1. Sections 2.369 and 2.370 of the San Marcos City Code are amended as follows <br />(underlining indicates added text and strikethroughs indicate deleted text): <br />Sec. 2.369. Created; composition; terms; officers. <br />(a) The economic development board is created, composed of 4-312 members consisting of 11 voting <br />members and gone non - voting members, 8 must be residents of the city, as follows: <br />No. of Wts.
