Call To Order <br />'• <br />With a quorum present, the regular meeting of the San Marcos City Council <br />was called to order by Mayor Guerrero at 5:02 u Tuesday, 0 :6 in <br />the City Council Chambers, 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br />Council Member Prather arrived after roll at 7:10 p.m. <br />Present: 7- Mayor Daniel Guerrero, Mayor Pro -Tem John Thomaides, Council Member Jude <br />Prather, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Lisa Prewitt, Council Member Jane Hughson, <br />Council Member Melissa Derrick and Council Member Scott Gregson <br />• • <br />IV. Fledges Of Allegiance - United States And Texas <br />> tl; 'iIi fi .M <br />1. 5:OOPM Executive Session in accordance with Section § 551.071 of the Texas <br />Government Code: Consultation with Attorney - to receive advice of legal counsel <br />regarding issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for The Woods of San Marcos; and <br />to receive advice of legal counsel regarding pending litigation, Cause No. 15 -0544 -- <br />Nicholas Flores Lara, et al. v. City of San Marcos, Texas in the District Court 274th <br />Judicial District Hays County, Texas; and in accordance with Section §551.087 of the <br />Texas Government Code: Economic Development - to receive a briefing and <br />deliberate regarding the potential offer of Economic Development Incentives to Project <br />Texas. <br />A motion was made by Mayor Guerrero, seconded by Council Member <br />Derrick, to enter into Executive Session at 5:08 p.m. The motion carried by the <br />following vote: <br />For: 6 - Mayor Guerrero, Mayor Pro-Tern Thomaides, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Prewitt, <br />Council Member Hughson, Council Member Derrick and Council Member <br />Gregson <br />City of San Marcos Page 1 <br />
