RESOLUTION 2016-95R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF SCHOOL ZONE <br /> FLASHER ASSEMBLIES FOR THE PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT <br /> - TRANSPORTATION DIVISION FROM CONSOLIDATED TRAFFIC <br /> CONTROLS, INC. IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $251,502.00 THROUGH <br /> THE HOUSTON-GALVESTON AREA COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS <br /> COOPERATIVE PURCHASING PROGRAM CONTRACT #PE-05-15 FOR <br /> TRAFFIC CONTROL, ENFORCEMENT AND SIGNAL PREEMPTION; <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO <br /> EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE PURCHASING DOCUMENTS ON <br /> BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The purchase of School Zone Flasher Assemblies for the Public Services <br /> Department — Transportation Division from Consolidated Traffic Controls, Inc. in the total <br /> amount of $251,502.00 through the Houston-Galveston Area Council of Governments <br /> Cooperative Purchasing Program, Contract #PE-05-15 for Traffic Control, Enforcement and <br /> Signal Preemption is approved. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the appropriate <br /> purchasing documents on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
