RESOLUTION 2016-154R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE AWARD OF A CONSTRUCTION <br /> CONTRACT TO ULTIMATE ROOFING SYSTEMS, INC. FOR THE <br /> MUNICIPAL BUILDING ROOFING REPLACEMENT PROJECT IN THE <br /> AMOUNT OF $63,730.80 THROUGH THE INTERLOCAL PURCHASING <br /> SYSTEM CONTRACT #2092415 CONTINGENT UPON THE <br /> CONTRACTOR'S TIMELY SUBMISSION OF SUFFICIENT BONDS AND <br /> INSURANCE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CITY'S CONSTRUCTION <br /> CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR THE PROJECT; AUTHORIZING THE <br /> CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE ALL CONTRACT <br /> DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The award of a construction contract to Ultimate Roofing Systems, Inc. for the <br /> Municipal Building Roofing Replacement Project in the amount of $63,730.80 through the <br /> Interlocal Purchasing System ("TIPS") Contract #2092415 is approved contingent upon the <br /> Contractor's timely submission of sufficient bonds and insurance in accordance with the City's <br /> construction contract documents for the Project. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute the contract <br /> documents on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
