RESOLUTION NO. 2017-33R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, ADOPTING GUIDING PRINCIPLES FOR THE 2017 <br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS FEDERAL PROGRAM ACTIVITIES; AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. The City of San Marcos works with federal elected officials and federal agencies <br /> on issues of importance to San Marcos for the achievement of the City's strategic goals. <br /> 2. The City Council recognizes the need for an active federal policy program to ensure <br /> that the interests of the City's residents and businesses are protected and enhanced and wishes to <br /> establish guiding principles for this program. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The attached Guiding Principles for the 2017 City of San Marcos Federal Policy <br /> Program are hereby approved and adopted. <br /> PART 2.
