RESOLUTION NO. 2017-142R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS RATIFYING THE SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION <br /> TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, BUREAU OF JUSTICE <br /> ASSISTANCE, FOR A JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT IN AN AMOUNT <br /> NOT TO EXCEED $15,763 TO FUND HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE <br /> UPGRADES TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT'S CYBER FORENSICS <br /> INVESTIGATIVE PROGRAM; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR <br /> HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE ANY AND ALL DOCUMENTS AS <br /> NECESSARY TO ACCEPT AND IMPLEMENT THE GRANT,IF AWARDED; <br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The submission of an application to the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of <br /> Justice Assistance, for a Justice Assistance Grant in an amount not to exceed $15,763 to fund <br /> hardware and software upgrades to the Police Department's cyber forensics investigative program is <br /> hereby ratified. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is hereby authorized to execute any and all <br /> documents as necessary to accept and implement the grant, if awarded. <br /> PART 3.
