RESOLUTION 2017-181R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />APPROVING A LIST OF QUALIFIED CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS FOR <br />THEIR PROVISION OF PROFESSIONAL CONSTRUCTION SERVICES IN <br />CONNECTION WITH CDBG-DR HOUSING REHABILITATION/RECONSTRUCTION <br />SERVICES PROJECTS AS NEEDED; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. The City issued a Request for Proposal for On -Call Construction Contractor Services for <br />CDBG-DR Housing Rehabilitation/Reconstruction Services Projects. <br />2. On November 2, 2017 the City received two (2) proposals. <br />3. Subsequently, a selection committee was formed for the purpose of evaluating the <br />proponents and selecting the most qualified firms for placement on an on-call list. <br />4. The on-call list will become effective as of December 5, 2017 and will remain in effect <br />for two years until December 4, 2019. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. Based on the evaluator's scores, the following construction firms are approved <br />for placement on the City's on-call list of qualified construction contractors for CDBG-DR <br />Housing Rehabilitation/Reconstruction Services projects: <br />James W. Turner Construction, Ltd., located in Tomball, Texas <br />DSW Homes, LLC, located in Galveston, Texas <br />PART 2.
