RESOLUTION 2017-173R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A MASTER AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE CITY AND KIMLEY-HORN AND ASSOCIATES, INC. FOR THE <br />PROVISION OF PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES IN THE <br />ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF $416,949.00 CONTINGENT UPON THE <br />ENGINEER'S PROVISION OF SUFFICIENT INSURANCE IN <br />ACCORDANCE WITH THE ATTACHED AGREEMENT; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO <br />EXECUTE THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached master agreement between the City and Kimley-Horn and <br />Associates, Inc. for the provision of professional engineering services in the estimated amount of <br />$416,949.00 is approved contingent upon the Engineer's provision of sufficient insurance in <br />accordance with the attached agreement. <br />PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the Agreement on <br />behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
