RESOLUTION 2018-41R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE AWARD OF A CONTRACT TO <br /> SANTA CLARA CONSTRUCTION, LTD. FOR THE CHEATHAM <br /> STREET WATERLINE BORE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT IN THE <br /> ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF $527,775.00 CONTINGENT UPON THE <br /> CONTRACTOR'S TIMELY SUBMISSION OF SUFFICIENT BONDS AND <br /> INSURANCE; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS <br /> DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS <br /> RELATED TO THE RENEWAL OF THIS AGREEMENT; AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS,TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The award of a contract to Santa Clara Construction, Ltd. for the <br /> Cheatham Street Waterline Bore Improvements Project in the estimated amount of$527,775.00 <br /> contingent upon the contractor's timely submission of sufficient bonds and insurance is <br /> approved. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute the appropriate <br /> documents related to the renewal of this Agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
