RESOLUTION NO. 2018-233R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AND THE CITY OF KYLE TO <br />PROVIDE THE CITY OF KYLE WITH ANIMAL SHELTER SERVICES <br />FOR A PAYMENT OF $141,881 TO COVER EXPENSES THROUGH THE <br />END OF THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR TO BE PAID BY THE CITY OF <br />KYLE UPON EXECUTION OF THIS AGREEMENT; AUTHORIZING <br />THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The interlocal agreement between the City of San Marcos and the City of <br />Kyle to provide the City of Kyle with animal shelter services for an annual payment of $141,881 <br />is approved. <br />PART 2. This interlocal agreement is entered into pursuant to the Interlocal <br />Cooperation Act, Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code. <br />PART 3. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the interlocal <br />agreement on behalf of the City of San Marcos. <br />PART4.
