RESOLUTION NO. 2019-53R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A ONE-YEAR <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND SOUTHWEST <br />LAND SERVICES, INC. FOR THE CONSULTANT'S <br />PROVISION OF PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT, ADVICE AND <br />ASSISTANCE TO THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT <br />SERVICES DEPARTMENT, THE ENGINEERING AND <br />CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS DEPARTMENT AND THE <br />CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO <br />EXCEED $67,500.00; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER <br />OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THIS AGREEMENT ON <br />BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached agreement between the City and Southwest Land Services, <br />Inc. for the Consultant's provision of professional support, advice and assistance to the <br />Planning and Development Services Department, the Engineering and Capital <br />Improvements Department and the City Manager's Office in the not -to -exceed amount of <br />$67,500.00 is hereby approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the <br />Agreement on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
