RESOLUTION NO. 2019-38R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AWARDING A CONTRACT TO TOWNSEND TREE SERVICE <br />COMPANY, LLC D/B/A NATIONAL TREE EXPERT COMPANY FOR TREE <br />TRIMMING SERVICES IN THE ESTIMATED TOTAL AMOUNT OF <br />$847,392.00.00 OVER A FOUR-YEAR PERIOD CONTINGENT UPON THE <br />BIDDER'S TIMELY SUBMISSION OF SUFFICIENT INSURANCE IN <br />ACCORDANCE WITH THE CITY'S BID DOCUMENTS; AUTHORIZING THE <br />PURCHASING MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE PURCHASING <br />DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The award of a contract with Townsend Tree Service Company, LLC d/b/a <br />National Tree Expert Company for Tree Trimming Services (IFB #219-001) in the estimated <br />total amount of $847,392.00 over a four-year period (#211,848.00 FY2019, $211,848.00 <br />FY2020, $211,848.00 plus CPl% FY2021 and $211,848.00 plus CPl% FY 2022) contingent <br />upon the bidder's timely submission of sufficient insurance in accordance with the City's bid <br />documents. <br />PART 2. The Purchasing Manager is authorized to execute the appropriate <br />purchasing documents on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
