RESOLUTION NO. 2019-48R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A BUDGET POLICY <br />STATEMENT FOR PEPARATION OF THE 2019-2020 FISCAL <br />YEAR BUDGET; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. Section 8.02(b) of the San Marcos City Charter requires the City Council <br />to formulate a policy statement to be used by the City Manager as direction during the <br />preparation of the proposed budget. <br />2. The City Council conducted a public hearing regarding the formulation of <br />the budget policy statement at its regular meeting on March 5, 2019. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The Budget Policy Statement attached to this Resolution is hereby <br />approved and the City Manager shall use this statement to direct the preparation of the <br />proposed budget for the 2019-2020 fiscal year. <br />PART 2.
