RESOLUTION NO. 2019-81R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS SUPPORTING THE CONSTRUCTION OF FM 110 <br />FROM STATE HIGHWAY 123 TO 1-35 AT YARRINGTON ROAD; AND <br />PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. FM 110 is included in the approved San Marcos Transportation Plan, Hays <br />County Transportation Plan and Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization Regional <br />Transportation Plan. <br />2. FM 110 will address safety and mobility needs and support economic <br />development in the City and the County. <br />3. Hays County, in partnership with the Texas Department of Transportation, is <br />nearing completion of project development, including construction design, environmental re- <br />evaluation, right-of-way acquisition and utility relocation for the three (3) segments of FM 110, <br />namely FM 110 from SH 123 to FM 621 ("FM South"); FM 110 from FM 621 to SH 80 ("FM <br />110 Middle"), and FM 110 from SH 80 to 1-35 at Yarrington Road ("FM 110 North"). <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The City Council hereby expresses its support for the construction of FM <br />110 from State Highway 123 to I-35 at Yarrington Road. <br />PART 2.
