(1) Lupe Carbajal <br />stated the Downtown Association wanted the Council to consider amending <br />the Ordinance on third reading regarding specific use permits for the sale <br />of alcoholic beverages to allow businesses who sell 25% or less in alcohol <br />sales to not be required to be limited to the fifteen maximum specific use <br />permits. He stated thousands of dollars have been spent in renovations <br />and all the downtown businesses are working hard to attract new <br />businesses, including more restaurants, to the downtown area. (2) Tom <br />McNair referenced a letter delivered to the Council signed by three <br />Neighborhood Association Presidents and a representative from another <br />neighborhood requesting the land use Resolution near the intersection of <br />Ranch Road 12 and Bishop Street on this agenda be tabled and the changed <br />conditions over the past three years be taken into account in a review of <br />the Sector 2 Plan prior to further consideration of this land use. <br />
