RESOLUTION NO. 2020-263R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE DONATION OF THE SAN <br />MARCOS FIRE DEPARTMENT'S FIRE SAFETY HOUSE TO THE HAYS <br />COUNTY OFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. The City's Fire Department possesses a Fire Safety House that is no longer in <br />consistent use and of no value to the City. <br />2. The Fire Department wishes to donate the Fire Safety House to the Hays County <br />Office of Emergency Services. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The City Council finds and determines that the Fire Safety House described in <br />the Recitals is surplus property and of no value to the City. <br />PART 2. The Fire Department is authorized to donate the Fire Safety House to the Hays <br />County Office of Emergency Services. <br />PART 3. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute any necessary <br />documents to facilitate the donation of the Fire Safety House. <br />PART 4.
