. RESOLUTION 2009-139R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE EXTENSION OF AN ANNUAL <br />CONTRACT WITH COLORADO MATERIALS, LTD. FOR THE <br />PROVISION OF ROAD BUILDING MATERIALS; AUTHORIZING THE <br />CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS <br />RELATED TO THIS CONTRACT EXTENSION ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. On October 21, 2008 the City Council of the City of San Marcos approved an <br />annual contract for the provision of road building materials (the "Contract") with Colorado <br />Materials, Ltd. <br />2. Both parties agree to extend the Contract for an additional year under the same <br />terms and conditions except for the extension. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The extension of the Contract with Colorado Materials, Ltd. for the <br />. provision of road building materials is approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Rick Menchaca is authorized to execute appropriate <br />documents related to this contract extension on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
