RESOLUTION NO. 2022-170R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ADOPTING A CITY COUNCIL <br /> PROCURMENT CARD POLICY; AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> WHEREAS, City Council wishes to utilize a City procurement card for expenses <br /> incurred in fulfilling the duties of their office; <br /> WHEREAS, the City has a fiduciary responsibility to safeguard and protect the City's <br /> assets; <br /> WHEREAS, City Council wishes to maintain accountability and transparency in all <br /> transactions; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. Establish City Council Procurement Card Policy as Exhibit A. Provide <br /> guidelines and procedures to Council Members for the use of a City issued procurement cards <br /> (P-card). <br /> SECTION 2. Effective Date.
