46 RESOIDTICN NO. 1981-8R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE COMPLETION OF PHASE I AND PHASE II OF THE CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE REVIEW AND UPDATE OF THE COMPREHENSIVE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY; AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT BY SAID CITY FOR SAID PHASES AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas on March 10, 1980 approved a contract between the City and Freese and Nichols, Inc. of Austin, Texas, for the provision of profes- sional services in connection with the review and update of the comprehensive master plan of said City and on June 23, 1980 approved an amendment to said contract; and, WHEREAS, Freese and Nichols, Inc. has requested final payment for completion of Phase I and Phase II pursuant to the terms of the contract; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCTL OF THE CITY OF SAN ~~RCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That Phase I and Phase II of the Contract for Con- sulting Services between Freese and Nichols, Inc. of Austin, Texas and the City of San Marcos, Texas for the provision of professional services in connection with the revision and update of the comprehen- sive master plan of said City be, and the same are hereby,approved as being completed pursuant to the terms of said contract. PART 2. That final payment to Freese & Nichols, Inc. of Austin, Texas for the services completed pursuant to Phase I and Phase II of said contract be, and the same is hereby, authorized. PART 3.
