RESOLUTION NO. 2023-32R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) ACTION PLAN FOR PROGRAM YEAR 2019 TO <br />REALLOCATE FUNDING; AWARDING COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT -CORONAVIRUS RESPONSE <br />("CDBG-CV") ROUND ONE FUNDING OF $188,443.00 TO THE <br />BLANCO RIVER RECOVERY TEAM (3R3T) FOR USE IN A RENT <br />AND UTILITY BILL RELIEF PROGRAM; AUTHORIZING THE <br />CITY MANAGER, OR HER DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE A <br />FUNDING AGREEMENT WITH BR3T IN SUCH AMOUNT AND TO <br />ACT AS THE OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE OF THE CITY IN <br />MATTERS RELATED TO THE CDBG PROGRAM AND ACTION <br />PLAN; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Action Plan for <br />Program Year 2019 approved by Resolution No. 2019-121R is amended to reallocate <br />$188,443 CDBG-Coronavirus Relief (CDBG-CV) Round One funding to a new program <br />for Rent and Utility Bill Relief as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.. <br />PART 2. Community Development Block Grant -Coronavirus Response ("CDBG- <br />CV") Round One funding of $188,443 for the use in a Rent and Utility Bill Relief Program, <br />is hereby awarded to BR3T (the "Subrecipient"). <br />PART 3. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to execute a funding <br />agreement with the Subrecipient in the amounts stated in Part 1, subject to applicable <br />CDBG-CV funding requirements. <br />PART 4. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to act as the official <br />representative of the City in matters related to the CDBG Program and Action Plan. <br />PART 5.
