RESOLUTION 2023-72 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A 2024 SPARTAN <br /> PUMPER TRUCK FROM METRO FIRE APPARATUS SPECIALISTS, <br /> INC. THROUGH THE HGAC CONTRACT FS12-19 FOR USE BY THE <br /> FIRE DEPARTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,027,778.00; <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HER DESIGNEE TO <br /> EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE PURCHASING DOCUMENTS ON <br /> BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The purchase of a 2024 Spartan Pumper Truck for the Fire Department from <br /> Metro Fire Apparatus Specialists, Inc. in the total amount of$1,027,778.00 through the Houston- <br /> Galveston Area Council of Governments Cooperative Purchasing Program, Contract #FS12-19 <br /> for Fire Service Apparatus is approved. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager or her designee is authorized to execute the appropriate <br /> purchasing documents on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
