RESOLUTION NO. 2025-98R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR THE PROVISION OF SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROPOSED OWNER REQUESTED ANNEXATION IN CASE NO. AN-25-04 OF APPROXIMATELY 10.03 ACRES OF LAND KNOWN AS UMC SUBDIVISION LOT 1, GENERALLY LOCATED 1,300 FEET SOUTHEAST OF THE INTERSECTION OF CLOVIS BARKER ROAD AND LEAH AVENUE, ALONG WITH THE ADJACENT COUNTY RIGHT-OF-WAY, IN HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HER DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; SETTING A DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF SAID TRACT OF LAND; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. The attached Agreement for the Provision of Services in connection with the proposed annexation in case number AN-25-04 of approximately 10.03 acres of land out of the Cyrus Wickson Survey, Abstract No. 474, known as UMC Subdivision Lot 1, generally located 1,300 feet southeast of the intersection of Clovis Barker Road and Leah Avenue, along with the adjacent County right-of-way, in Hays County, Texas, is hereby approved. PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the City. PART 3. The date for the public hearing concerning the proposed annexation of the land described in said agreement shall be July 1, 2025. PART 4.
