RESOLUTION NO. 2025-105R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A LIST OF QUALIFIED ON-CALL <br /> SURVEY SERVICE FIRMS TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO THE CITY ON <br /> AN AS-NEEDED BASIS FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE YEARS, IN AN <br /> AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED$250,000.00 PER FIRM OVER FIVE YEARS; <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER,OR HER DESIGNEE,TO ENTER <br /> INTO INDIVIDUAL CONTRACTS WITH SUCH FIRMS ON BEHALF OF <br /> THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. The City issued a Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") No. 224-295 for on-call <br /> services to be utilized for current and future capital improvements construction projects. <br /> 2. On March 20, 2025, the City received Statements of Qualifications ("SOQ") from <br /> eleven firms. <br /> 3. An evaluation committee was formed for the purpose of evaluating the SOQ's and <br /> selecting the most qualified firms for placement on an on-call list. <br /> 4. The committee selected the most highly qualified firms to be on the on-call list for <br /> current and future capital improvements construction projects for a period of five years under the <br /> terms of master agreements with the City in amounts not to exceed $250,000.00 per firm. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. Based on the evaluator's scores, the following firms are approved for <br /> placement on the City's on-call list of qualified on-call survey service firms for various City <br /> projects for a period of five years subject to the terms of master agreements to include a not-to- <br /> exceed amount of$250,000.00 with each firm: <br /> A. Byrn &Associates, Inc; <br /> B. Halff Associates, Inc., dba Halff; and <br /> C. Pape-Dawson Engineers, LLC. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to enter into individual <br /> contracts with such firms on behalf of the city. <br /> PART 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect immediately from and after <br /> its passage. <br />
