RESOLUTION 2009-172R <br />• <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A 105 FOOT <br />HEAVY DUTY AERIAL FIRE APPARATUS IN THE ESTIMATED <br />TOTAL AMOUNT OF $721,000.00 FROM SCOTT FIRE APPARATUS <br />THROUGH THE HOUSTON-GALVESTON AREA COUNCIL OF <br />GOVERNMENTS COOPERATIVE PURCHASING PROGRAM; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE <br />APPROPRIATE PURCHASING DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The purchase of a 105 foot heavy duty aerial fire apparatus from Scott Fire <br />Apparatus through the Houston-Galveston Area Council of Governments Cooperative <br />Purchasing Program in the estimated total amount of $721,000.00 is approved. <br />PART 2. The City intends to make payment for the purchase of this aerial fire <br />apparatus with current funds to be reimbursed to the City from proceeds of future City issued <br />debt. <br />• PART 3. The Cite Manager, Rick Menchaca, is authorized to execute the <br />`J b <br />appropriate purchasing documents on behalf of the City. <br />PART 4.
