RESOLUTION NO.2026-09R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A CHANGE ORDER TO THE <br />CONTRACT WITH PAYTON CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR <br />CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE COMANCHE PUMP STATION <br />IMIMPROVEMENTS FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF DETERIORATED <br />PIPING AND INOPERABLE VALVES IN THE AMOUNT OF $304,763.00; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HER DESIGNEE, TO <br />EXECUTE THE CHANGE ORDER ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. Change Order No. 4 to the agreement with Payton Construction, Inc. <br />(Contract No. 224-007) for the Comanche Pump Station improvements in the amount of <br />$304,763.00 is approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to execute the appropriate <br />documents to implement the Change Order on behalf of the city. <br />PART 3.
