RESOLUTION NO.2026-06R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH <br />HAYS COUNTY SPLITTING THE LOCAL MATCH REQUIRED UPON <br />AWARD OF THE CAPITAL AREA METROPOLITAN PLANNING <br />ORGANIZATION FUNDING PROGRAM, FOR THE DESIGN OF THE <br />CAPE STREET SHARED USE PATH PROJECT FOR AN ESTIMATED <br />AMOUNT OF $100,000.00; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR <br />HER DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF <br />THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The Interlocal Agreement with Hays County, attached hereto, for the design <br />of a Shared Use Path along Cape Road from the San Marcos River to Luciano Flores in the amount <br />of $200,000.00, of which $100,000.00 is being paid by the City with the remainder being paid by <br />Hays County, is approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to execute the Interlocal <br />Agreement on behalf of the city. <br />PART 3.
