RESOLUTION NO.2026-25R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT <br />WITH TEXAS STATE UNIVERSITY TO ENHANCE PUBLIC SAFETY IN <br />THE DOWNTOWN SQUARE AREA WITH TEXAS STATE PROVIDING <br />SUPPORT, COOPERATION, AND FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$150,000.00 TO THE CITY; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR <br />HER DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF <br />THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached Memorandum of Agreement with Texas State University to <br />enhance public safety in the Downtown Square through providing support, cooperation, and <br />funding in the amount of $150,000.00 to the city is hereby approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to execute the <br />Memorandum of Agreement on behalf of the city. <br />PART 3.
