RESOLUTION NO.2026- 38R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br />AGREEMENT WITH DAVEY RESOURCE GROUP TO CONDUCT A <br />CITYWIDE TREE INVENTORY AND CANOPY STUDY, FOR THE <br />DEVELOPMENT OF AN URBAN AND COMMUNITY FORESTRY <br />STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT PLAN, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED <br />$635,085.00 PAID FROM FEDERAL GRANT AND DEVELOPER FUNDED <br />TREE FEE IN LIEU MITGATION FUNDS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER, OR HER DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON <br />BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. A Professional Services Agreement with Davey Resource Group for <br />development of an Urban & Community Forestry Strategic Management Plan and Tree Inventory <br />Study, in an amount not to exceed $635,085.00 (paid from USDA Forest Service Inflation <br />Reduction Act Grant funds in the reimbursable amount of $299,722.00 and Tree Fee -in -Lieu <br />Mitigation Funds in the amount of $335,363.00) is approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to execute the Professional <br />Services Agreement on behalf of the city. <br />PART 3.
